About the Creamery & its history

The Creamery Café is in the old creamery which was used to make Apley Cheese from 1956 until 1965. Milk from the Apley Estate’s pedigree dairy shorthorns was piped in & processed into a Cheshire variety cheese using traditional methods & 50lb presses.

It was highly regarded in the local area & won 2nd prize nationally. We have converted the barn into a beautiful, light & airy space where you can relax & enjoy delicious food & drink.
